TRAINING AND PLACEMENTS CELL (TPC)

The Training & Placements Cell is formed to provide all possible assistance to the students in their efforts to find employment. The Purpose of the Cell is to guide the students to choose right career and to give knowledge, skill and aptitude to meet the industry. The placement cell consists of faulty and student coordinators of the college

Objectives:

Student Development:

  • Career Guidance: Assist students in clarifying their career interests and goals through individual counseling, workshops, and guest speaker sessions
  • Skill Development: Organize training programs to hone essential skills for placements, such as aptitude tests, communication skills, interview techniques, and business writing.
  • Industry Exposure: Facilitate industry visits, plant training, and interaction with corporate professionals to bridge the gap between academia and the workplace

Placement Facilitation:

  • Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with potential recruiters from various industries to attract them for campus placements.
  • Placement Process Management: Organize and manage the entire placement process, including pre-placement talks, resume collection, scheduling interviews, and coordinating logistics.
  • Student Placement Maximization: Provide ample opportunities for students to secure placements through on-campus and off-campus drives.

Overall Program Improvement:

  • Data Analysis: Track placement data and analyze student performance to identify areas for improvement in training programs and industry relations.
  • Feedback and Evaluation: Continuously gather feedback from students, faculty, and recruiters to evaluate the effectiveness of T&P Cell initiatives and adapt them accordingly
  • Employer Branding: Promote the college and its MBA program to potential employers, highlighting graduate capabilities and achievements.

Roles and Responsibilities:

Student Development

  • Conduct career counseling sessions for students to identify their interests and set career goals.
  • Organize workshops and training programs to equip students with essential skills like communication, analytical thinking, and problem-solving.
  • Facilitate industry exposure through guest lectures, company visits, and internship opportunities

Placement Facilitation

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with companies across various industries.
  • Manage the entire placement process, including pre-placement talks, resume collection, interview scheduling, and logistics coordination.
  • Provide students with ample opportunities for placements through on-campus and off-campus drives.

Data Management and Improvement

  • Maintain a centralized database of student profiles and placement records.
  • Analyze placement data to identify areas for improvement in training programs and industry relations.
  • Continuously gather feedback from students, faculty, and recruiters to evaluate T&P Cell initiatives and adapt them accordingly.

Information Dissemination and Transparency

  • Clearly communicate placement deadlines, eligibility criteria, and company information to students.
  • Maintain transparency in the selection process and ensure fair opportunities for all students.
  • Organize information sessions to educate students about resume writing, interview techniques, and professional etiquette

Collaboration and Employer Branding

  • Collaborate with faculty members to integrate industry-relevant skills into the curriculum.
  • Leverage alumni networks to connect students with potential employers and provide career guidance (optional).
  • Promote the MBA program and student achievements to potential employers, highlighting graduate capabilities.

Ethical Conduct

  • Maintain ethical standards in all interactions with students, companies, and stakeholders.
  • Ensure confidentiality of student information and adhere to data privacy regulations
  • Refrain from any discriminatory practices in the placement process.
