Kala, Arts Club
Arts club of Aurora PG College provides an opportunity to the students to let their imagination run wild and provides them with the sight to view things in a different way. Students learn from one another and share their prowess in different aspects of art. The college provides ample opportunities to develop talents in different forms of artistic activities. In addition to the activities of the Arts club, students are encouraged to take part in competitions held outside the campus.
Objectives:
Art Club offers students with interest in visual arts a safe space to come together and hone their artistic talent through meaningful art experiences. Student-artists get to explore new art techniques, expand their knowledge in art and cultivate their spirit of creativity, innovation, and experimentation through art. Art Club also creates opportunities to enhance connections to the arts between our students and the community at large.
Rules:
- Respect: Treat fellow members, instructors, guests, and club property with respect at all times
- Attendance: Attend club meetings, events, and activities regularly unless there are extenuating circumstances
- Contribution: Contribute positively to the club's activities, whether through creative work, event organization, or other forms of participation.
- Compliance with Policies: Adhere to all club policies, including those related to safety, conduct, and the use of club resources
- Inclusivity: Embrace and respect diversity within the club, fostering an inclusive environment where everyone feels welcome
- Communication: Keep informed about club activities and communicate any concerns or suggestions to club leadership in a timely manner
- Ethical Behavior: Uphold ethical standards in artistic practices and interactions within the club and the wider community
- Attendance and Punctuality: Arrive on time for meetings, rehearsals, workshops, and other scheduled events
- Conflict Resolution: Address conflicts or disagreements constructively and seek resolution through dialogue and mediation, involving club leadership if necessary
Responsibilities

- Support for Fellow Members: Support and encourage fellow members in their artistic pursuits, offering constructive feedback and assistance when needed
- Promotion of Club Activities: Help promote club events and activities within the club and the wider community to attract participation and support
- Adherence to Deadlines: Meet deadlines and fulfill responsibilities in a timely manner, particularly when organizing events or projects
- Respect for Club Property: Take care of club property and equipment, ensuring that they are used properly and returned in good condition after use
- Continuous Learning and Improvement: Strive for continuous learning and improvement in artistic skills and knowledge, seeking out opportunities for growth and development
- Contribution to a Positive Environment: Contribute to creating a positive and supportive environment within the club, fostering camaraderie, creativity, and mutual respect.
- Representation of the Club: Represent the club positively in interactions with others, reflecting its values and ethos
- Leadership and Mentorship: Offer leadership and mentorship to newer or less experienced members, helping to facilitate learning and growth within the club.
